Teaching Experience

1990 – 2017, on faculty at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School, NYC and summer conservatory program, Burlington, VT as New York University adjunct professor and part-time instructor teaching the following:

  • Script Analysis for Actors

  • Repetition/Moment-to-Moment Technique for the Actor

  • Master Class in Acting the Plays of David Mamet (immersive 4 and 5 day workshops)

  • On-Camera Acting

 

1999 to 2015, adjunct professor New York University through Atlantic Theater Company Acting School teaching the following:

  • Writing Performance Workshop (Sketch Comedy Writing & Performance for Actors)

     All classes and curriculum designed by Jordan Lage.

 

1995 -2015, Co-coordinator & Interview Moderator of Atlantic Theater School’s performing arts industry Guest Lecture series. These were artists with whom I had worked in theater and/or film (notable participants included Alan Alda, Charles Durning, Brian Dennehy, Gabriel Byrne, Gore Vidal, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Howard Korder, Nancy Giles, Giancarlo Esposito, Monique Holt, et al).

 

1999-2005, Studio Coordinator on behalf of the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School for New York University’s annual HotInk! new play festival, which brought together industry professionals and Tisch School of the Arts undergraduate acting students to perform readings of new works during this week-long festival. I organized and oversaw the Atlantic School’s readings, and directed several at each festival.
